Hope FM

Hope FM is a community Christian radio station serving Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. It is operated mainly by volunteers from fully equipped studios at the Westover Road site. It broadcasts a range of music as well as topical and local information, news, events, weather and travel. It serves as a platform for local businesses, voluntary sector organisations and churches, highlighting all that is good in the community. Since its launch in 1993 it has been restricted to two 28-day broadcasting periods every 12 months. However the longer-term vision has always been to gain a full licence so Christian radio can become a permanent service for the whole community throughout the year. This it has done and Hope FM will be on air 24/7 from May 2007.
