Hands on Media

This ICT training facility that springs from the government’s UK On-line initiative was set up in 2001 and is funded by the New Opportunities Fund and Department for Education and Skills. Using the latest digital technology, it offers entry-level training in media, using video, digital photography, radio, I.T. and Internet to enable participants to develop IT based communication skills.

Courses and sessions are being run regularly from Westover Road and are aimed at all ages. If you want to get involved and would like further information on these, contact the Programmes Manager.
