Homelessness Support

Finding yourself homeless or under the threat of eviction can be a very stressful experience. There are many services in the Bournemouth area that can give you support and advice at every step of the journey.

There may be many ways to prevent yourself from becoming homeless. It is important to note that if you leave home without good cause, for example, you don't get on with your parents even though they are happy for you to live with them, then you will be deemed 'intentionally homeless' and many services will not offer you support.

Shelter offers advice and support to those in dispute with their landlord, under threat of eviction, or who have just been made homeless.

Since the 1st December 2011, all applications for Supporting People funded Supported Housing (such as the YMCA) must be made through the Bournemouth Council's Hub.
